The diary in December soon filled up with a variety of things. Christmas cards were late being sent - again!

At the start of December I was co-tutoring a UKCC L2 course for aspirant orienteering coaches. Paul signed up for a first aid course at the Slochd so we decided to take another break at The Old Stable near to Boat of Garten.

This is a reflective look back at October 2010, written at the start of January 2011. Why the delay? Well, life has been a bit busy and so other things have taken priority (that does sound a lot better than saying I’ve been lazy!).
This was a month of some time here and some time there. There was Boat of Garten, coaching and assessing orienteering – as well as having a break. Here was well, here – and painting.

There was an opportunity to go orienteering every weekend and we took the lot!

We had been speaking for some time – measure that in years – about having the ceilings redone. We had been expecting the plasterer for about a month.

Glasgow West End Orienteering
Posted on 29 Aug, 2010 by Lynne Walker | Filed under Blog • Orienteering
You would have thought that five days of orienteering racing in the Lakes would be enough – but no, Paul & Lynne entered the last of the Clyde urban races. This one was based close to the Kelvinhall Art Gallery & Museum and so easy to get to on a Sunday morning. This was the area that was used for a Park World Tour event in the late 1990’s.

I am a level 4 orienteering coach and a qualified Assessor & Coach Educator. I have been orienteering for xx years and have coached on many foreign tours.
